Real Ale is one of the growth areas in the Brewing Industry and we pride ourselves with our inclusion in the 2010 Good Beer Guide. There are two hand pumps, Caledonian Deuchars IPA is always available. This award winning beer is brewed locally in Edinburgh and with an ABV of 3.8% is a popular Ale any time of the day. This Real Ale is used to flavour our popular Home Made Steak Pie a customer favourite.
We compliment this with our other hand pump. A Guest Beer from around the UK. This Real Ale is hand picked to compliment The I.P.A.so a darker maltier beer is generally chosen and we keep the strength of this Ale between 3.8 ABV and 4.5 ABV so that the Guest Ale can also be enjoyed at any time of the day.

Good Food in Edinburgh: Freshly Prepared
At The Riccarton Arms our food is prepared mostly on the premises so during busy periods there may be a slight delay. We use locally sourced produce where ever possible. Our Menu is versatile and has something for everybody ranging from Salads: Burgers: Auld Favouorites including Steak Pie, Sausage & Mash, Ham & Eggs, Seafood to Steaks.
